GOD

Since the beginning of humanity to the time present, the name And the existence of God has always been constant. Every human has always acknowledged the presence of the Supreme Being, i.e. God. But, the truth of God remains a mystery, that’s why today in every part of the world we can see people worshipping a different God. Every being’s ideology and beliefs in God are totally different, but anyhow the concept is the same. I.e.., the righteous path to salvation.

I’m been born and brought up in a mixed denominational family (catholic + Protestant). Although both are Christian, but their approach and understanding towards the path of salvation and living differ. And, that’s why, although the concept is Christ, but ethics and practices create two different Christs ie., the catholic Christ and the Protestant Christ.

My story is a short description of every single human on this planet our God the creator is the same but due to being born in different regions and practices, we have different ideas about God the creator.

Whereas talking about God; God is someone who can’t be hooded or limited in a book or idea. God is bigger than anything. Any person, things-existed or will-exist, things we can imagine. Human beings can try and have ideas, but they can never reach to greatness or close, to knowing God directly. Due to the patriarchal emphasis on humankind since the years god was always considered to be a male figure but, with different philosophical thinking and movements now, the topic pf “God's gender” has also become “questionable?”. The greatness of god can’t be limited to gender specifications as well.

The path set by God for humankind is a path of righteousness and peace but his love gave humans free will. That’s why we have two kinds of people who walk on the righteous path and the other who walk on the path that leads to sins and hopelessness. The path that God expects us to follow may seem difficult/boring but, happiness and peace are sure on the other hand, the worldly path may seem easy/fun or an act of self-care, but, at some moment in life humans are left with regrets choosing that path. God’s promises and path have always been same, but the uses and implementation that supposedly should have differed as per the changing time also didn’t happen. Isn’t it amazing that in any context/era the promises and path of God mixed so easily while remaining constant? This reveals the greatness and beauty of God's word and vision.

The greatness and existence of God can also be exalted by the years of scientific experiments and trials to deny the existence of God, but till now science has always failed. For example the story of creation to the day of Jesus’s birth the way religious books tell and narrate the story of humankind is perfect with each and every detail. Not only in the Bible but in any religious book the existence, goals and future of humankind are mentioned perfectly which has always challenged science, and even with the advancement of technology God still isn’t lacking behind, but, God’s name is being glorified more.

At the end, I would like to conclude by mentioning God's love and supreme power. That’s what mine and probably every religion which shares the concept of God believes I.e.,. “Love above all”. In the present context where some are denying the existence of God and some are trying to “Save” Their religion. I being a theologian motivate you to be the one who respects the beliefs and ideologies of everyone and understand God as love. That way we’ll have a better future, a peaceful world and lovely souls.
